Privacy Policy

Last updated: Jul 01, 2024

Your privacy is critically important to us. Here we have a few fundamental principles:

We do not ask you for personal information unless we truly need it. (We cannot stand services that ask you for things like your gender or income level for no apparent reason.) We do not share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights. We do not store personal information on our servers unless required for the ongoing operation of one of our services. If you have questions about deleting or correcting your personal data, please contact our support team.

Extension and Application Users and Website Visitors

Like most websites and extensions, Rabbitpair collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Rabbitpair’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Rabbitpair’s visitors use its website and its browser extensions. From time to time, Rabbitpair may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website and its extensions.

Information We Collect

Certain users of Rabbitpair’s extensions and website choose to interact with Rabbitpair in ways that require Rabbitpair to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Rabbitpair gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. We may collect a variety of information from or about you or your devices from various sources, as described below.

Legal Basis for Processing

When we process your personal data, we will only do so in the following situations:

  • We have your consent to do so. For example, we may ask your consent to send you marketing communications.
  • We need to use your personal data to perform our responsibilities under our contract with you (e.g., processing payments for and providing the Services you have requested).
  • We have a legitimate interest in processing your personal data. For example, we may process your personal data to communicate with you about changes to our Services, and to provide, secure, and improve our Services.

You have certain rights and protections under the law regarding the processing of your personal data, including the right to access, review, modify, and delete your personal data. You may exercise your rights by following the instructions under “Your Choices” above, or by contacting us using the contact details at the end of this Policy. Before fulfilling your request, we may ask you to provide reasonable information to verify your identity. Please note that there are exceptions and limitations to each of these rights, and that while any changes you make will be reflected in active user databases instantly or within a reasonable period of time, we may retain personal information for backups, archiving, prevention of fraud and abuse, analytics, satisfaction of legal obligations, or where we otherwise reasonably believe that we have a legitimate reason to do so. In addition, certain choices may make it impossible to provide the Services. For instance, if you ask us to delete all your personal information and no exception applies, we will no longer be able to provide the Services since certain personal information, such as an email address, is needed to provide the Services. We will inform you when you will need to permanently delete your account in order to satisfy a request you have made.

Questions or Complaints

If you are located in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, and have a concern about our processing of personal information, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, including in your country of residence, place of work, or where an incident took place.

Updates to this Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the last updated date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
