VertiTab v3.5 introduces a powerful Menu Editor for customizing 6 menu types with drag-and-drop and 200+ icons, active tab border customization, split screen tabs for Chrome 140+, QR Code generation in context menus, root domain operations, and simultaneous Auto Suspend and Auto Close with independent settings.

  • "On-demand" search box — hidden by default, shown with /, Ctrl+F, or hover, dismissed with Esc.
  • "Quick Access" toolbar mode — merge toolbar actions into quick access as a collapsible section.

  • Setup wizard now displays exclusively on first install — login prompt appears only after completing the wizard.
  • "Cloud Sync" settings moved to the Premium section; renamed from "Sync Settings" to "Cloud Sync".
  • "Tab Lens" moved from Tabs settings to Experimental features.
  • Reorganized settings sidebar with "Premium Features" section — "Page Sidebar" moved to Experimental.
  • Tab Tree view and all tree settings are now completely free for all users — no login or premium required.
  • Free users limited to 3 auto and 2 manual snapshots — exceeding limits shows an upgrade dialog.
  • Context menus reorganized by category with standardized labels and compact "Pro" badge.
  • Settings pages for Tabs, Tab Groups, Tree Tabs, and Multi-Window organized into categories with dropdown menus.
  • Clarified "Copy Info" label to "Copy This Tab's Info" in tab context menu.
  • Performance settings redesigned with clearer descriptions.
  • Snapshot restoration more reliable for large sessions.
  • Refreshed default theme with warmer colors, redesigned tab group styling, and improved collapsed group preview.
  • Suspend All Tabs, Suspend Other Tabs, and Restore All Suspended Tabs are now free — no longer requires Premium.

  • Site Settings is now a Premium feature — creating new site configurations requires Premium; existing configurations remain freely editable.
  • Removed misleading "Login to unlock" prompts from features that are actually free — only AI grouping still requires login.

Fixed

  • Fixed closing tabs by domain not working for non-HTTP pages (e.g., chrome://newtab).
  • Fixed resetting pinned tab URL not working after discard.
  • Fixed multi-select menu overflowing beyond the visible window.
  • Fixed "Show All Menus" appearing when there are no hidden menus.
